Action Africa Help International (AAH-I) is an international not-for-profit humanitarian and development agency with headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya, and Country Programmes in South Sudan, Kenya, Somalia, Uganda, and Zambia. AAH-I has a long experience in delivering humanitarian assistance in South Sudan, Uganda, Zambia and Somalia.

Action Africa Help International has received SPARK-DFID grant for Support and Protection and Assistant of Refugees in Kenya (SPARK) Project to enhance self -reliance and sustainable livelihoods for refugees in Kakuma, Turkana County.

AAH-I Is Seeking Qualified Candidates For The Following Positions


The Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant will be responsible for collection, collation; management and reporting of data on performance indicators. S/he will undertake routine field checking of the data collected by project staff and partners to ensure data quality in terms of accuracy and completeness. S/he will be responsible for ensuring that primary stakeholders are involved as much as possible in undertaking M&E related activities. Additionally, s/he will be responsible for training partners and field staff on Monitoring and evaluation.

Qualification and Experience

  • University degree in Social Science or other related field
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience carrying out monitoring and evaluation
  • Working knowledge of the statistical analysis soft wares (Epi info, SPSS, STATA etc.) is desirable
  • Experience in development and implementation of M&E system
  • Proven training and facilitation skills
  • Excellent English writing and reporting skills
  • Working experience in use of M&E soft wares
