Our Client is currently looking for a temporary administrative assistant. The candidate will be required to take on the following tasks:

Duties for the Administrative Assistant Job

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Book travel arrangements
  • Submit and reconcile expense report
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers

Administrative Assistant Job Requirements

  • Diploma in Business Administration
  • At least 2 years experience in handling administrative duties
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Fluency in both English and Swahili, written and spoken
  • Ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management
  • The candidate MUST have good planning and organizing skills
  • Information gathering and information monitoring skills
