HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
In order to achieve our strategic objectives, we seek to engage an exceptional Human Resource Manager to drive the people agenda in the organization.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for the leadership of the Human resource function, delivering quality advice, support and innovation in all aspects of people management. Interested candidates must have a track record of excellent performance in Human Resource management at a senior level.
Providing HR guidance, advice, and services to all staff.
Developing effective organizational design and development strategies and programs to meet business goals.
Advising senior management on critical organizational issues and needs.
Defining and implementing staff development programs including training, careers planning and succession planning.
Administering resourcing activities including manpower planning, recruitment, staff on-boarding and career management.
Managing compensation programs including: reviewing reward program to support business goals, advising managers, monitoring merit pay actions; communicating benefit plans and advising employees on pay and benefits issues.
Managing performance management process to ensure that it supports the vision, missions and goals of the organization.
Monitoring and supporting effective employee relations activities including CBA negotiations and providing coaching to managers on effective employee relations practices.
Developing and implementing Human Resource budget, outsourcing plans, and management reporting systems.
Knowledge and experience
The ideal candidate must possess 7 (seven) or more years experience plus a BA/Human Resources or related degree or equivalent experience. Strategic HR experience with advanced degree in HR management or business administration will be an added advantage. Excellent knowledge of HR principles, practices and laws. Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of people and to maintain confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with good analytical skills. Word-processing, spreadsheet, and HRIS software experience required.
In order to address future manpower needs, we are seeking for high potential fresh university graduates to join our management trainee development program in all aspects of our business
Reporting to the respective department/section Managers, the successful applicants will undergo a six months intensive on the job training under a fast tracked development program. The Trainees will join a diverse team of professionals in delivering high quality services to our stakeholders while creating long term value for the entire organization. The program is designed to give the trainees exposure to various functions of the business while participating in challenging work assignments.
Upon successful completion of the program, the trainees maybe considered for substantive appointment within the organizational establishment.
The ideal candidates must possess the following qualifications:-
Hold a first degree from a reputable University with specialization in any of the following fields:
Business Administration/ Agriculture Economics/ Agribusiness, Civil Engineering/Building Construction/Construction/Management/Building Economics or Architecture, Law/Legal Studies, Human Resources Management, ICT, Commerce or related field (Marketing Option)
Sound and System Engineering, Finance and Accounting, Audit and Risk Management
Computer literacy and familiarity with the standard office applications;
Be aged not more than 28 years.
Individuals who graduated not more than three (3) years ago in the above varied disciplines of study, with at least Upper Second Class Honor’s from a reputable University are invited to apply. They should have attained a minimum of C+ in KCSE or its equivalent.
Reporting to the Showground Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for the Society’s Dam Water quality, equipment and distribution function, effectively delivering adequate portable water to the society installations and its clients.
Form four level of education with a minimum of C-
A diploma in water engineering from the Kenya Water Institute or a similar organization.
Knowledge on water pumps maintenance and plumbing works will be an added advantage.
Interested candidates must have worked in a similar position for a period of at least three years.
