Job Title: Sales Executive – Key Accounts
Industry: FMCG

Location: Nairobi
Salary: 35K – 40K plus commissions
Our client is an agro-processing company that produces and supplies food ingredients such as flour, yeast, icing sugar as well as animal feeds.
They seek to hire a sales executive to manage relationships with key accounts i.e. tier 1 supermarkets.

Key Responsibilities
• Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients
• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity
• Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned
• Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
• Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
• Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up
• Prepare reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals
• Participate in marketing events that the company participates in such as seminars, trade shows etc
• Follow-up for collection of payment
• Coordinate merchandising activities

Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum of a diploma in any field
• Minimum 2 years sales experience in FMCG industry
• Previous experience handling key accounts i.e. tier 1 supermarkets
• In depth knowledge and understanding of the FMCG industry and its distribution networks
• Proven track record in sales and hitting targets
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and computer skills
