Job Purpose

  • The job holder is responsible for performing administrative and secretarial assignments in the Directorate of Regulatory Policy & Strategy.

Reports to: Director Regulatory Policy & Strategy
Contract Period: 6 Months

Admin Assistant Job Main Duties and Responsibilities in Kenya

  • Maintain records in the Directorate
  • Provide planning and logistical support in the directorate
  • Maintain online filing of documents, inventory of all assets and other facilities in the Directorate
  • Professionally and accurately handles all communication in the directorate
  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Directorate meetings
  • Coordinate internal and external communication in the Directorate
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops in the Directorate
  • Organize and coordinate travel and accommodation for directorate staff in liaison with other departments
  • Disseminate information received to relevant departments
  • Ensure cleanliness of the Directorate offices and liaison with the Administration Officer
  • Make stationery requisitions for the Directorate and monitor usage

Minimum Requirements for Admin Assistant Jobs in Kenya

  • Minimum of Diploma in Business Management
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience handling administrative functions
