Commercial Regional Business Associate


Our client, an International Company world leader in Biological Solutions, is looking for a Commercial Regional Business Associate in Kenya. The successful candidate must be a go getter with strong technical sales experience, have excellent customer relationship and presentation skills. International experience is a plus. Ability to travel is a MUST.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and realize business development opportunities.
• Ensure presence in local markets by providing on-the-ground support for existing customers.
• Gather market information and report to Head of Business Development Africa.
• Agile pursuit of new opportunities to expand activities with existing and potential customers.
• Develop training and Individual Development Plans (IDP) with the Head of Business Development in Africa.
• Implement training and skill development plans.


• A university degree or similar – MBA is an advantage.
• More than 7 years of proven Technical sales experience and proficient performance.
• Prior B2B sales experience preferably within food or chemical industry.
• Business development mindset and strong executor.
• Country expert with relevant local relationships and good interpersonal skills.
• Prior knowledge/experience in chemical or bio-chemical sciences is a plus.
• Ability to travel Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend travel, by air or automobile domestically with some international air travel.
• Valid license required.
