Job purpose

  • Provide planning and leadership to the Marketing and sales Department by developing of appropriate structures, systems, competencies and values in order to meet and exceed the set objectives.

Director Of Sales Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managing the sales team
  • Developing route to market strategies
  • Identify marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements, defining market competitor’s share, and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business and establish targeted market share
  • Improve product marketability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development
  • Assume overall responsibility for developing the annual marketing plan for the organization, market research programs; field activities, and control of the marketing budget
  • Coordinating the production of a wide range of marketing communications
  • Restructure the sales processes to bring in more efficiency with the ground team and hence achieve better results
  • Brand building

Qualifications & Experience for Director Of Sales Job

  • A degree in marketing course
  • Master in Business related course
  • Sound understanding of marketing principles
  • Strong copywriting skills and ability to communicate complex ideas
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in BTL marketing or FMCG marketing
  • Strong administration and organizational skills
  • Sound understanding of Sales / Marketing principles
  • Passionate and aggressive
