Five Grants for Kazakhstan Students at Universities of Kyrgyz Republic, 2017

The Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan are providing five grants to Kyrgyz applicants for the academic year of 2017-2018. These grants are open on the basis of competition to pursue bachelor and master (training programme).

The aim of the grants is to support Kyrgyz candidates to the effort, the study in all areas of knowledge.

Kazakhstan Ministry of Education and Science is the central executive body in the field of education, science, protection of children’s rights and youth policy.

Course Level: Grants are available to pursue bachelor and master (training programme).

Study Subject: Grants are awarded in the fields offered by the university.

Scholarship Award: These grants will cover the followings:

  • Free education
  • Provided a high-performance monthly allowance – 800 soum (KGS).

Numbers of Scholarships: Five grants are available.

Scholarship can be taken in Kazakhstan

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • The average score of the document on education: for applicants for training under the program “Bachelor” – a high school diploma is not less than 4.5 from 5.0; for applicants for training under the program “Master” – bachelor degree/specialist at least 4.10 out of 5.0 or GPA 3.0 out of 4.0.
  • If the applicant has not completed the training, current GPA must comply with the above points, respectively.
  • Matching function with a speciality diploma Higher Education (for Postgraduate). In the framework of the Agreement provided:
  • Free education
  • Provided a high-performance monthly allowance – 800 soum (KGS).
  • The remaining costs are covered by students at their own expense.
  • A language of instruction – Russian.

Nationality: Kyrgyz applicants are eligible for these grants.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Applicants for training under the program “Bachelor” – a high school diploma is not less than 4.5 from 5.0; for applicants for training under the program “Master” – bachelor degree/specialist at least 4.10 out of 5.0 or GPA 3.0 out of 4.0.

How to Apply: Applicants can apply by post.

  • Statement by the rationale to study abroad in any form (in the Kazakh or Russian language). Date stamped on the day of filing
  • Copy of identity card and national passport (notarized in case of non-originals for verification)
  • Completed application of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan who went to study abroad in the form of Annex. Date stamped on the day of filing
  • A medical certificate on Form 082 / y to travel abroad in the form in Annexe
  • A copy of a high school diploma Bachelor/specialist (notarized in case of non-originals for verification)
  • For students in their final year of undergraduate: Information about the status of high school graduate and a transcript of the entire period of study, certified by the seal of the University
  • Copies of certificates and certificates, if any
  • 2 letters of recommendation from professors (to graduate)
  • Consent to the adoption of training issued by the university-ohm or employee selected scientific organisation, which confirms that the research project of the candidate can be executed at the host institution (to graduate)
  • Documents confirming the fact of belonging to the category of the candidate orphans and children left without parental care; invalids from childhood and disabled children, which according to the medical certificate is not contraindicated training in foreign institutions of education; children from large families
  • The written consent of parents (guardians, legal representatives)the applicant for the direction to study abroad (persons under 18 years of age).
  • List of universities and specialities in the Kyrgyz Republic is attached to the link
  • The documents are available in the file folder in 2 copies (1 original, 1 copy).
