G4S Job Vacancy : Health & Safety Manager


Role Responsibility:

  • Ensure understanding and implementation of the HSE systems in line with Group requirements, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 across the over14000 staff spread across the country’s 41 branches
  • Promote H&S awareness and positive safety culture within the business
  • Guide the business on H&S risk management process, and advice on mitigation measures
  • Establish and document and periodically review a workable EHS structure that includes all the business functions and spreads across the Country
  • Develop and implement business EMS
  • Spearhead incident investigations to identify root-causes, lessons learnt and identify measures to prevent recurrence and track implementation


The Ideal Candidate:



  • University level education in a science related field
  • Health and safety competence certification
  • Environmental audits/ impact assessments certification
  • Knowledge of Fire safety, first aid and other general basic safety
  • Knowledge of ISO standards
  • Knowledge of the applicable EHS legislation and regulations



  • Superior communication, leadership and team building skills
  • Good Organization skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Strategic approach to HSE matters in terms of aligning HSE objectives to overall business objectives
