Job Description

Regional Sales Manager (East Africa) – This position will be responsible for developing and growing the full HFS range of fire alarm and PA products/systems within the East Africa regions. In conjunction with the customer base, develop, implement and achieve annual plans along with key goals and objectives that will help drive the business forward for the longer term. Develop and maintain a professional customer relationship and promote the objectives and ethos of the company at all times.
Minimum 2-3 years experience in the Fire Alarm, Electrical Products and Electrical contracting Industry.
Significant experience in selling technical equipment, both direct and indirect, specifically in the same country.
Basic knowledge of Fire Alarm systems and systems employing Smoke and Heat Sensors.
Clear understanding of the dynamics of sales, profit and margin.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both verbal and written format with colleagues and customers.
High competence in standard MS Office applications including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project & PageMaker or equivalent.
Competent use of e-mail and the Internet.
Professional attitude and approach, strong work ethic, pro-active team member and prepared to learn.
High standard of personal presentation, high competence in written and oral skills.
Highly organised, customer focused and strong presentation skills.
English and local language compulsory, other common regional languages an advantage.
