Hotel Business Development Executive Job Responsibilities

  • Contribute to budgeting and marketing plans that increase bookings and profitability
  • Pursue all leads generated by marketing efforts, including inquiries through email, social media, the hotel’s website and respond to requests and covert to actual business
  • Development of the hotel’s monthly sales plan
  • Identify and grow opportunities within assigned territory achieving set sales targets
  • Delivering sales presentations to targeted clients
  • Attending client meetings
  • Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients

Qualifications for the Hotel Business Development Executive Job

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing or related field
  • Experience in sales with a strong background in the hotel or tourism industry
  • Ability to develop and grow existing accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Strong account management skills
  • Ability to build strong and long-lasting profitable relationships
  • Enthusiastic approach with customers, confident on phone and in person
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, goal and results oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
