DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Drives the business planning process and provides guidance to Decision Support partners. Prepares medium and long term Business Plans as well as monthly forecasts  Oversees the reporting of monthly results to the Group  Works directly with the CFO and other senior finance staff on major finance projects and ventures or alliances that have significant financial impact for example potential mergers and acquisitions and implementation of ERP Systems & Planning Tools  Prepares investment cases for review by Senior Management  Works closely with and supports the Group Head of Financial Planning and Analysis  Performs needs assessments for each business division with respect to business partnering  Provides commercial support to the business  Builds strong professional relationships with managers across the organisation. Develops deep insights into the business and industry  Develops an effective framework for the structuring and negotiation of customer and supplier contracts, providing financial and commercial input as appropriate  Supports and advises on pricing models for new and existing business  Manages the allocation and utilisation of decision partner staff across the group  Reviews and reports on the financial performance of the various business segments and. Makes appropriate recommendations
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Academic Qualification(s):
 Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field  MBA or Masters Degree in a related discipline is desirable
Professional Qualification(s):
 Should possess an advanced professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA, CFA
Experience (Number of relevant years):
 Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience at least 3 of which should be at a managerial level. Experience with ERP systems would be desirable.
 Reviews performances with Group Heads/Line Managers and identifies drivers and to improve performance within their group. Works with Business partners to ensure that agreed initiatives are implemented  Focuses partnering efforts on aspects of the business where the effort can deliver the greatest value with respect to returns  Sets the performance standards and targets for the Decision Support Partners  Empower and guides subordinates towards the achievement of their own performance targets
