Television Technician Job Qualifications in Kenya
• Diploma in Electronics, or related field from a recognized institution
• Bachelors Degree will be an added advantage
• At least two (2) years of experience within a multi-channel, fully automated transmission environment
• Ability to Work with minimum supervision in off-site locations
• Must be able to read and understand technical manuals, diagrams and building plans
• Highly proficient in computer applications
• Understand Ethernet and wireless networking principles, including TCP/IP protocol, router configuration and port forwarding
• Must be able to operate hand and power tools in a safe and competent manner
• Must be able to use test equipment including volt ohm meters, RF signal meters, and spectrum analyzers, and accurately interpret results
• Work safely at heights from a ladder or building roof
