To complement our existing team, we seek an exceptional professional to take up Manager – Financial Risk Management position in Kenya.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage Engagements
• Plan and manage FRM consulting engagements for all our East Africa banking clients
• Manage the engagement team to the production of quality deliverables on time and on budget
• Ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels of our clients
• Ensure the quality of deliverables exceed client expectations
• Contribute to successful client oral presentations
• Manage engagement risk and project budget

Business Development

• Develop and maintain relationships with decision makers at key client
• Contribute to proposal development efforts
• Meet budget targets for the business unit

Team Development
• Support the development of strong delivery teams, from recruitment to on the job development and retention
• Be valued by colleagues and direct reports as a team player and as a coach
Qualifications and Experience
• Minimum of 6 years banking experience or in a consulting services firm focusing on banking
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or Economics
• Demonstrated track record of quality work, project management and productive team interactions
• Strong understanding of international banking best practices
• Strong analytical skills
• International exposure in Financial Risk engagements will be an added advantage
Skills and Attributes
• Able to demonstrate commercial awareness with sound knowledge of matters affecting the market
• Understand and interpret operational and financial data
• Enthusiastic approach to work, well developed management and supervisory skills
• Entrepreneurial mind-set and ability to identify opportunities and develop high quality proposals
• Developing staff and providing guidance and technical advice where necessary
• Displays curiosity and innovation and possesses well-developed problem solving abilities and strong analytical skills
• Socially confident, and able to create a strong presence with clients and the KPMG team
• Excellent report-writing, presentation and project management skills
• The ideal candidate must be able to provide support to various management and leadership levels, and work well independently.
