Reports To: Chief Manager – Commissioner’s Operation Office

Data Analysis & Reporting Manager Job Purpose
Supporting the department’s agenda at manager level in developing data analysis and reporting capabilities and continuously monitor performance and quality through cleaning, importing, transforming, validating, modelling or reporting KRA’s big data with the purpose of understanding and analysing data for informed decision making purposes

Data Analysis & Reporting Manager Job Responsibilities

  • Collecting, analysing, and validating large datasets, drawing inferences, and presenting findings to senior management team using appropriate reporting tools
  • Coordinating Treasury, Board, Top Management, Performance Contracting, Commissioner General’s and Commissioner’s reports
  • Collaborating with the department’s different divisions on performance contracting processes for the authority
  • Professional presentation and reporting data in charts, graphs, tables, diagrams, or reporting tools as appropriate
  • Identifying, analysing and interpreting trends or patterns in complex datasets
  • Work closely with Chief Manager to prioritize business information needs of the department
  • Locate, define, and advice the Chief Manager on new process improvement opportunities
  • Collating any other reports that may be required

Qualifications For Data Analysis & Reporting Manager Job

Minimum academic requirement:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business/Commerce, Statistics or related fields
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years experience as Manager OR 6 years as Assistant Manager
