Vacancy: Management Trainee (Finance and Accounts)
Job Purpose / Summary: The job holder will be responsible for financial and accounts, budgeting, reporting and preparation of Financial management Accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Conduct internal and external audits by providing information required and ensuring complete and timely implementation of audit recommendation
•Prepare cash sales reconciliation and bank
•Prepare weekly sales and stock reports
•Receive and process all invoices, expense forms and requests for payment
•Oversee the management and preparation of financial account statements and management accounts.
•Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
•Ensure filing of all payments made and record all financial transactions for easy retrieval and reference
•Prepare payroll and process statutory deductions of NSSF, NHIF and PAYE and remit as per set timelines
•Prepare and review detailed budgets for approval.
•Apply Financial accounting system compliance with generally accepted accounting principles for auditing purposes.
•Act as the custodian of Financial accounting records, ledgers, revenues and operating expenses
•To manage and oversee the internal audit process and be in-charge of reviewing accounting and administrative controls
•Oversee clearance of debts and arrears within agreed timelines
•Ensure all taxation and legislative requirements are complied with at all times.
•Undergraduate degree in Finance and Accounting
•Professional qualification: CPA(K) or ACCA
•Experience on preparation of management Accounts preferably consolidation of group Accounts
•Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as an Accountant in internal and external accounts.
•Strong analytical and communication skills with all levels of the organization.
•Good interpersonal and proactive approach
