Driver II Job Opportunities at NCPWD, Kenya

A Driver at this level will report to senior officer under whom they will be deployed.

Driver Job Duties and responsibilities in Kenya

  • driving a vehicle as authorized
  • carrying out routine checks on the vehicle’s cooling, oil, tyre pressure, electrical and brake systems, ensuring safety of passengers and/or goods,
    administering first aid,
  • detecting and report malfunctioning of vehicle systems and any other occurrences,
  • maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle and work ticket management; and
  • Any other duties that may be assigned.

Requirements for Driver Jobs in Kenya

  • KCSE grade D or its equivalent;
  • Two(2) years’ experience in Driving;
  • Current driving license free from any endorsement;
  • Passed Occupational Trade Test 11 for drivers;
  • First Aid training certificate lasting not less than one (1) week from St. John’s Ambulance or Kenya Council of Highway and Building Technology
  • (KIHBT) or any other recognized Institution;
  • A valid certificate of good conduct from Criminal Investigation Department (CID)

Terms of service:
Permanent & Pensionable
Basic Salary Ksh. 24,662 x 1,233 – 25,895 x 1,285 – 27,180 x 1,340 – 28,520 x 1,398 – 29,918 p.m
House Allowance- dependent on deployment
Commuter Allowance – 4,000 /= p.m
