We seek to recruit an M&E Officer will be responsible for overall coordination of DREAMS Project Monitoring and Evaluation activities in Kisumu County.The position will ensure data quality at all levels of the data flow system; timely data capture into the DREAMS Management Information System (MIS); monthly data review meetings and quarterly reporting to the donor.

Specific Duties And Responsibilities

    • Support in the development, management and implementation of the M&E plan for the DREAMS Project.
    • Assist in data management at all levels of the interventions.
    • Oversee the development and maintenance of databases.
    • Gather information, provide feedback and technical editing.
    • Assist in preparation of data tables.
    • Ensure proper documentation of findings and lessons learnt.
    • Ensure data quality at site levels by carrying out routine data audit assessments and reviews.
    • Support in training the M&E team, MOH stakeholders and sub-grantees on data management, reporting tools and indicator definitions.
    • Undertake training and supervision of short-term consultants when working on M&E data management assignments.

Required Skills

    • Experience working in a USG funded project.
    • Good understanding of DATIM and KePMS data/reporting systems is mandatory.
    • Working experience using Ministry of Health facility and community based data collection tools is also mandatory.
    • Good understanding and application of Excel and at least one statistical package is necessary

 

Required Experience

At least a relevant Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years’ experience supporting health facility and community based M&E activities.

  • Experience working in a USG funded project.
  • Good understanding of DATIM and KePMS data/reporting systems is mandatory.
  • Working experience using Ministry of Health facility and community based data collection tools is also mandatory.
  • Good understanding and application of Excel and at least one statistical package is necessary
