We are a fast growing IT company based in Nairobi that sells computers & computer accessories.
We are looking for a results driven retail Sales & Customer Service Associate to be responsible for all sales activities and sales associate job duties, from lead generation through to close. The successful candidate will be able to elevate company standards, achieve sales goals and meet clients’ expectations.

Responsibilities for the Sales & Customer Service Associate Job

  • Experience in point of sale software will be an advantage.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
  • Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features
  • “Go the extra mile” to drive sales and provide excellent Customer Service
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
  • Actively seek out customers in the shop
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
  • Cross sell products
  • Team up with co-workers to ensure excellent customer service
  • Build productive trust relationships with customers

Sales & Customer Service Associate Job Requirements

  • Proven working experience as sales associate
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Proficiency in English
  • Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent Customer service focus
  • Diploma in Marketing or related field, work experience would be a plus
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to shift patterns and hours of work, ability to work flexible hours from time to time
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude and resilient character with the ability to manage expectations
  • The flexibility and independence to work in a changing environment.
  • Ability to work independently
